Private Dining Car
The original 1880s Pullman Club Car can be reserved for your special celebration meals, company holiday parties, and private gatherings. The Club Car can comfortably seat thirty-two people at tables, and up to approximately forty with the train car’s booth seating.

Gift House
We offer a gathering space on site, named after NomtiPom Wintu artist Frank LaPena’s book, “The World is a Gift”. (The NomtiPom are the original people of the Castle Crags region). The Gift House is a peaceful, beautiful space right under the Crags, with double doors that open out onto Reflection Pond. It is part of the quieter, contemplative area of the Lodge. Within this space we have hosted book readings, meditation and yoga classes, art exhibits, film screenings, and fireside chats for guests of the Lodge. It is a kind of a zendō, (a japanese meditation hall), and is a dedicated space for inner practice. The space has little furniture, and a shoes-off / no-alcohol policy.
